What is a Postpartum Doula?
A postpartum doula provides emotional and physical support for mothers after birth by providing evidence-based information and hands-on care in the early weeks of postpartum healing. The Sacred Window, or The Fourth Trimester, is traditionally seen as the first 6-8 weeks following birth, but postpartum care can extend far beyond this initial stage of recovery. I wholeheartedly believe we are forever postpartum after birth, and I love working with clients 2-12+ months postpartum.

What is Ayurveda?
Ayurveda, the ancient science of life, is traditional Indian medicine dating back over 3000 years. Ayurveda aims to restore and maintain harmony between body, mind, and environment. Ayurvedic texts acknowledge the first forty-two days after childbirth as a sacred period of rest, healing, and bonding between mama and baby.
